Recently, Da Nang has become the focus of attention. We have faith and encourage frontline units in the prevention of COVID-19, and we accompany Da Nang with practical actions.❣️❣️❣️
In 2020, we are very honored to contribute and join hands to support Da Nang in the “Clean drinking water for Vietnamese schools” project. The project will install eight water purification systems with a capacity of 3,000 L/day, worth 223,000,000 VND each, and sponsored by Coca-Cola Beverage Company. The project has been implemented for three years and coordinated by CFC Vietnam. This is the fourth year. Despite the pandemic and economic difficulties, the sponsor continues to pledge to support and join hands with the city to bring free clean drinking water to students in Hoa Vang District.
? Hoa Vang district is the only district in Da Nang that has not been promoted to District level. Although Hoa Vang is considered a paradise – especially Ba Na Hill, which attracts a lot of tourists – the general reality of the district is difficult. It is difficult to supply local water to schools in the district due to remote geographical conditions. Some schools have the city’s water source, but there are still schools in the high mountains that are using self-flowing spring water. Most of the schools’ water filtration systems are old. This motivated our team to apply for sponsorship from Coca-Cola for eight secondary schools in the District.
? Since the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted global economies. Although the pandemic situation in the US is complicated and its economy faces many challenges, the Coca-Cola Company still sponsored the “Clean Drinking Water for Vietnamese Schools” project in 2020. It’s a very respectful decision. The city Department of Education in Da Nang, and the beneficiary schools in Hoa Vang district are very excited and ready for the project. The project is expected to be installed in September and tested in October and November, on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. After this it will be handed over to eight secondary schools in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang.
Currently, Da Nang is being affected by the pandemic and everyone is focusing on anti-pandemic work and social distancing. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly and will be finished on time so that students and teachers will have free, clean drinking water to use.
