In April 2021, with the recommendations of UNICEF Vietnam, CFC got access to the three-part video series “Why Inclusion.” Produced by the STEMIE team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the video is based on Dr. Phil Strain’s keynotes at the 2019 OSEP Leadership Conference.

CFC Vietnam feels deeply aligned to the messages of the video series, with its focus on making education more inclusive and more accessible for disadvantaged students by reducing the accessibility gaps among different groups of children.

We also feel having a Vietnamese version of these video lessons to be freely used by Vietnamese educators (and beyond) would amplify our efforts significantly. As a result, CFC asked permission from STEMIE for localization and arranged for translation, Vietnamese sub-titling, and Vietnamese sign language sub-titling.
