The Center for Consultancy on Family Health and Community Development (CFC Vietnam) is a Vietnamese non-profit organization established by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) in February 2012.

CFC Vietnam was founded by a team of experienced project managers with experience in education and children’s rights advocacy. We operate in the field of women empowerment, children’s rights, promoting education for all, access to education, promotion of technology-enabled education, increasing access to the Internet and mobile technology for children in disadvantaged areas, and more.

The CFC Vietnam leadership team is diversely women-led and includes a 2020 YSEALI fellow (by US Department of State). CFC is a TechSoup and Google Adwords for NGO beneficiary.

Since 2018, equitable access to technology-enabled education for young children has been made into CFC’s strategic area of operations. Towards the end of the year, CFC forged a partnership with leading ICT for education partners, including the Vietnamese NGO Vietnet-ICT, the multinational companies Google and Panasonic, and the Vietnamese edtech company OMT, among others.

The CFC have launched a number of initiatives to promote the use of the Internet in education, Internet safety for young children, smart parenting in a digital world, and promote public awareness about digital literacy through a series of bi-monthly seminar that has been running regularly since 2017 on a dedicated YouTube channel “Awesome Kids on the Internet.” Online resources reviews and regular appearance on local media (VTV, VTC and VOV).

enabling environment for children’s development in an increasingly digitalized
world.

CFC’s vision is to be a
pioneering non-profit organization that initiates and delivers innovative,
measurable impacts on the development of young children in Vietnam in the 21st
century.

The CFC, with a young team who are passionate and competent, has the capabilities to facilitate the emergence in Vietnam of a generation of global citizens that are open-minded and well equipped with essential social-emotional learning skills.

CFC Vietnam teams up regularly with other civil society organizations and policy advocacy entities in Vietnam and to internationally provide project-management services and consulting services to enhance the capacity of existing government and non-government organizations, through providing information, knowledge and skills relevant to the fast-changing Vietnamese context. As a young and modern organization, the CFC promotes the use of Internet and information technology in education and awareness of community, effective communication to wider and further audiences.
