On 09/09/2019, at the beginning of the new school year 2019-2020, the secondary schools Nguyen Cong Tru, Nguyen Thien Thuat, Tran Quy Cap and Dang Thai Mai in Cam Le District, Da Nang City have received handing over 4 clean drinking water filtration systems and 300 books with contents suitable for secondary students. These are the works in the project “Clean drinking water for Vietnamese schools” due to Coca-Cola Beverages Co., Ltd. sponsors and Center for Family Health and Community Development coordinate.
This is the first year of school, direct drinking water filtration systems with a capacity of 3000 liters of clean water/day are installed and handed over to students in Cam Le District. The quality of the output water of the systems ensures the hygiene and microbiological standards set by the Ministry of Health and is publicly and transparently notified to all students and parents of the schools. When the water filtration systems come into use, the pupils, teachers and staff in Cam Le district have pure water to use, ensure safety and prevent diseases that bring convenience and peace of mind to parents, students and school administrators.
The handover ceremony of the water filtration systems and the books was held at Nguyen Thien Thuat Secondary School with the vibrant music performances, elaborate staging and art brought a lot of surprises to the attendees.
Thanks to the guidance, support and enthusiastic support of the leaders of Da Nang City, the Vietnam Clean Drinking Water Project, sponsored by Coca-Cola Beverage Company, has entered the third year and promises to bring clean water to more schools, teachers and students.
