Join CFC Vietnam and UNICEF Vietnam in this ‘1-minute green’ video challenge! The challenge will be during 20 Oct. to 18 Nov. 2020 to celebrate the 2020 World Children’s Day.

JOIN THE “1-MINUTE GREEN ” VIDEO CHALLENGE
- Please make a 1-minute video to address environmental pollution in Viet Nam and/or the impacts of climate change. Think about what is causing the current situation and some solutions to improve our future.
- Feel free to innovate and deliver a positive, creative, and fun messages.
- Share your video on the UNICEF Facebook Group ‘1-minute green’ video challenge, share your comments, and vote for the best video.
- The best videos will be broadcasted on national television.
- You will be more sensitized to the environment and climate change.
- You will learn how to film and edit a video on your mobile phone and engage with video production experts at UNICEF.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE? TOTAL GIFTS’ VALUE: 34 MILLION VND
- Weekly gift set worth VND 2 million VND for the three best videos (8 million VND for 4 weeks)
- Three gift sets worth VND 24 million VND in total for the three best videos of the challenge
- A gift set worth VND 2 million VND for 4 people who have the highest engagements in the UNICEF Facebook Group ‘1-minute green’

HOW TO SELECT AND VOTE FOR THE BEST VIDEOS?
1. Weekly gift videos
- Every week, UNICEF video experts and organizers will select 3 best videos shared on UNICEF Facebook Group – 1-Minute Green video challenge to vote in UNICEF Facebook Fanpage. The video that has the highest engagement will receive a 1-million VND gift. The other 2 best videos will receive 500,000 VND gift each. Number of icons Facebook (like, heart, …) and number of shares (1 share equal 2 times of 1 icon facebook).
- Note:
- The selection and vote are only for the videos shared in UNICEF Facebook Group in the week. For example: the videos which are shared in the first week will not be selected for voting in other weeks (2nd, 3rd, 4th).
2. Special gift videos
- At the end of 1-minute green video challenge, UNICEF will announce 3 videos to receive special gift worth 8 million VND each. They include:
- 01 video that has the highest engagement including number of icons facebook and number of shares among the videos selected and voted in each week of the challenge.
- 01 best creative idea video: video will be selected by UNICEF video experts and organizers.
- 01 best technical skills for filming and editing video: video will be selected by UNICEF video experts and organizers
3. Engaged gift videos
- 4 people who have the highest engagement in the UNICEF Facebook Group ‘1-minute green’ will receive 500,000 VND gift each. Number of icons facebook (like, heart, …) and number of shares (1 share equal 2 times of 1 icon facebook).
(*) Note: Videos that use any software or artificial means to increase the engagement during the voting period will be disqualified.

WHO WILL SUPPORT UNICEF FOR THE 1-MINUTE GREEN VIDEO CHALLENGE?
UNICEF Viet Nam cooperates with the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the United Nations International School of Hanoi (UNIS), OMT company, KidsOnline company, CFC Viet Nam, TEKY Academy, Vietnam Association for Education for All – VAEFA, and Med247 company.
And singer Ali Hoang Duong, winner of The Voice 2017 and coach for The Voice Kids 2019 will support the whole video challenge.
- https://www.facebook.com/groups/motphutxanh and share your video there. (participants under 13 years old must be supervised by an adult at all time when using social media).
- Send a request to join the private group and agree to the rules.
- Participants or content that violate the Facebook group rules will be excluded or removed by the administrators.
- Create a video that focuses on innovative ideas and craft a positive, creative, and fun message about climate change and the environment.
- Videos should be recorded using any digital device you have, e.g., smartphones, tablets, or cameras.
- There is no time limit to your video production. Feel free to create more than one video if you have many good ideas.
- UNICEF will provide online manuals on the basics of how to film and edit a 1-minute video on a smartphone, as well as fundamental knowledge about climate change and the environment. You may view and download here.
WHAT TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN JOINING?
- You must be a young person aged 8 -18 and living in Viet Nam.
- Your video entry must not be part of any other challenges or released elsewhere, such as television, radio, and website.
- The video duration must be 1 minute.
- You must be the author of the video and do the filming and editing yourself.
- Participants under 16 years old must seek permission from their parents (or guardians) to join the video challenge hosted by UNICEF. UNICEF may request you to submit your parents’ written consent when necessary.
- In the video-making process, don’t put yourself in any risky or dangerous situation, or don’t put others at risk. UNICEF shall not be held liable for any damage that may result from your video-making process.
- UNICEF is entitled to use your video in its communication activities for non-commercial purposes.
